Week Thirty Five: Being present and letting shit go…

Sooo....I don't even know if it is Week 35.  It has been so long since I last posted but this sounds about right so we are going to go with it. If I am to be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to write anymore.  As someone who sits behind the screen, you [...]

The Los Olivos Tree and my laser beam eyes want to send a massive THANK YOU!! In one week we have raised over $8,500 for Loren’s MS Run!!! AMAZING. Almost half way to $25,000 and the fundraising fun has just begun! Keep an eye out for upcoming 2020 fundraising events both here in Santa Ynez AND in Orange County and if you haven’t donated yet and would like to, the link is still in my profile. You are all such GOOD PEOPLE and man we are fortunate to have such generous family, friends and followers. THANK YOU!! #runLorenrun #only220milestogo
You say “Los Olivos Christmas Tree Lighting”, I say, “an excuse to go wine tasting in my own town”... #tistheseason
Couldn’t let the night end without saying HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY to this guy. Gave this guy his favorite things; wine, football and our “other half” couple over for pizza. He was so annoyed by this photo but I don’t even care bc well, capturing the fact that you get to own the remote in this house is a big deal, even if only for the night. 😘#happy42babe
Just another reason why, when I hear “she is her Mother’s daughter” it makes me stand up a little straighter and work a little harder. Thank you @womenshealthmag @goodhousekeeping and @womansdaymag for giving my mom a platform to encourage and support all women 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Love you mom! @annettewalkr
So this guy just kicked off his fundraising for the 220 miles he is going to run in 8 days, from Barstow to Las Vegas from April 11-18, 2020 and I had to let you all know that his GoFund Me link is in my profile JUST IN CASE you wanted to make a contribution, in honor of “Giving Tuesday” tomorrow. Last time he ran he raised $25,000 , which blew us away and we are hoping to do it again! Something we have learned in his fight against MS is that we all know someone, some where, who is affected by this disease, and he is not just running for himself, but for everyone who suffers. 220 miles in 8 days... no biggie right? 😉 Thank you in advance for supporting him through this craziness! #runlorenrun
All I want for Christmas is... a Lemonade business. It is crazy how life works. One year ago today we announced we purchased the local doughnut shop. Today, we announced that we purchased Los Olivos Lemons, a local business started by our friends Jen and Grant. This isn’t just any lemonade business. LOL started around their son Vance, who has Cystic Fibrosis. His enthusiasm and joy through adversity inspired them to deliver “cups of happiness” to others. They have brought so much joy to locals, visitors, restaurants, weddings, parties and more! When they told us they were going to close, the four of us just couldn’t see all that they had done come to an end. So, we asked if we could buy LOL, making it a provision of GCP and are honored that they said yes, trusting us to continue what they have started. We will continue to support CF through donating a portion of all sales, and will make sure we make them proud. This also means that GCP is expanding and 2020 is going to have a lot of new things ahead. It is crazy it has only been 12 months but I guess the lesson is, just let your faith take the wheel and your path will take turns you could have never imagined. So, if any of you need some doughnuts or a lemon serving lemonade at your next party, you know who to call 😜🍩🍋
